It’s probably much better, it’s a departure from the traditional go kart chain drive, but I have to say it’s probably better. I have the chain drive and I love it, but the steering wheel on this one and the no maintenance hub motor looks like a worthy upgrade

Razor really needs to switch from sealed lead acid batteries to lithium ion batteries for their electric vehicles. I can't even travel six tenths of a mile one way on my ecosmart metro scooter without getting a low battery light during my return trip despite fully charging the batteries beforehand. This scooter is advertised as having a 12 mile average range and yet I can't even travel a full mile from home without running out of battery power. Tomorrow I'll be receiving my brand new caroma P1 scooter which features lithium ion batteries and also a better display screen, which is something that the ecosmart metro doesn't have.

I see you changed the design from a chain (mid ) motor design to a hub motor design. I wonder how that affects performance and reliability compared to the old design?

How do you put the new chain tensioner on because the thickness of the spring and the tensioner body? I can’t get the bolt where the motor is right next to the bracket how are you doing that?
